Josh Dixon is a native of Lancaster City and is a graduate of both J. P. McCaskey High School (1986) and Franklin & Marshall College (1991). He and his wife of 11 years and three daughters currently resides in Lancaster
Prior to joining the Urban League of Lancaster County, Josh spent 18 years in the insurance industry. His most recent position was as a Supervisor in the Claims Department with Eastern Alliance Insurance Group. Josh joined Eastern three years after the company was formed and was part of Eastern’s 700% growth from a small entity with one location and 25 employees to a much larger company with 3 locations and over 200 employees. While at Eastern, Josh participated in fund raising and volunteer efforts for entities such as the United Way of Lancaster County and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lancaster County. He and his family members also did volunteer work at the Crispus Attucks homeless shelter.
